New Resort opened since 2008

Ghebel Resort was built in traditional sicilian style and it was complited in 2007. It is located in Milo, on the East side of Mount Etna, at 750 m above sea level, in a fascinating natural landscaped.

An oasis of quiet in a healthy atmosphere for the one who loves the colours, the environment and the scents of Mediterranean landscape, that assure pleasant and relaxing stays in every period of the year.

The name, Ghebel, comes from arabic language. The Arabic name of Mount Etna was Jebel Utlamat (Mountain of Fire). The Mount Etna is also Known as Mongibello, a combination of latin mons and Arabic ghebel, both meaning mountain.
